What this website is
We publish structured, plain-language education about how trading and financial markets function, and we research the trading platforms people encounter while learning. The site exists because platform information online is dominated by promotional material, while the mechanics that actually determine outcomes — costs, execution, risk controls — are rarely explained clearly.
Our best-known work is our gmTrade review and trading platform research, an educational analysis of a web-based trading environment written from an independent perspective.

Who writes the content
Content is produced by our Financial Markets Research Team: a small editorial group with backgrounds in market research, financial writing and data analysis. We work from public documentation, industry data, market literature and comparison frameworks, and we state plainly where evidence ends and interpretation begins.
We hold no licence to provide financial advice and we do not present ourselves as regulated advisers, certified analysts or industry authorities. Where a question requires professional guidance, we say so.
How we evaluate trading platforms
Platforms such as gmTrade are assessed using financial research, public information, industry data, market analysis, platform comparison principles and risk-awareness education. The criteria and their limits are documented in our research methodology, and our standards for corrections, sourcing and independence are set out in our editorial policy.
Our editorial commitments
- We never publish ratings, awards, testimonials or performance figures we cannot substantiate.
- We never claim affiliation, partnership or endorsement.
- We never present trading as low-risk, easy, or guaranteed.
- We label uncertainty rather than filling it with confident language.
- We correct errors openly and record the revision date.
Who this site is for
Newer traders who want mechanics explained without hype; experienced traders who want a repeatable framework for comparing environments; and anyone researching a specific platform name who would rather read analysis than advertising.
